Yet, here I am in a gloomy mood with a set of 207 (I have one extra known as the Torus) very very irritated bones. Nothing seems to cheer me up,  not even the sight of tasty food that is not cooked by me for a change. All I want to do is sit and scowl and bury myself in my tribal print blanket. I can’t seem to track back the reason for this miserable state of mind I am in. All I know is that I am wishing badly for it to snow in Santa Clara which is like kind of asking Johnny Depp to cook a 9 course dinner for me; considering that the last time any Snow was recorded in this place was way back in 1976.

So what do I do? I sit and scowl, wrap myself in the tribal blanket and dig up my desktop for all those snow pictures I took in Boston.

One such conversation that happened over the dinner table.

Me (sporting my usual evil mom mask): Tell me how many kids do you want?

Samy (with a monk like blissful expression on his face): 8! 4 girls and 4 boys.

Me (very amused and thinking the fate of my future DIL): Why????

Samy: I don’t want my kids to grow up all alone. I want each of them to have their own best friend. I like the number 4 and I will have to get each of my kid a best friend…hence the total number of 8 kids to make a perfect family.

Me (a little dizzy with the logic): But that will not leave you or your wife, with much time to do things you love. You guys will have to cook, clean and feed the kids. And not to forget, how hard you will have to work to make all that money to take care of such a Humongous family.

Samy (I swear he was looking exactly like Calvin when he said this): Oh don’t worry about us. I will be taking her for long drives while you can stay at my home; cooking and taking care of my kids. I am sure they will love your food just the way I do.

Me (heartbroken and depressed but hoping that the husband is destined for a similar fate too): So Papa will be still working in an office to earn all the money for your family?

Samy (his face was now looking like those heart shaped balloons you get on Valentines Day): Na!! he can rest all day in a hammock reading books or playing video games.  And you can feed him whatever he wishes for.

Is there any blogger friend of mine, with a heart out there? Who is willing to take me under their roof  in a decade or so?  Because I am already oh so busy planning to runaway

As expected no one gave a damn about the rules and regulations or cared to read what I actually wanted them to do.  But because I am such a nice soul I have picked two winners. Here is what the first winner had to say,

What is actually happening here:
She seems to be standing on a platform fit for one person, so I am guessing she is standing there to get some wedding portraits done and the guy is fixing her train + dress just right before he hands over the bouquet (which is on that bag on his side) for the pictures.

Comfy was the only one who gave a Caption and took the effort to explain what was going on. But that’s not the reason she is winning the prize. I am very very partial to mom’s who have not one;  but two adorable, extra intelligent daughters who are worthy of 1000 kisses.

Talking about Mom’s, how can I ignore the Dashing Daddy’s of Bloggywood? Here is what the second winner had to say,

Rakesh wins this prize for genuinely showing his joy (twice in the first and last sentences), over my choice of the prize. And his comment does prove that good looks and a twisted mind is all that it takes to win over the esteemed judge.

The rest of you please apologise to the poor old photographer in the picture, who was just doing his job  (like me).
